Three Year Law Course Available Through CLAT

The course of Law is the basic legal education after the Higher Secondary Examination, provided to students to become lawyers and legal advisors in future. These law courses are provided by specialized Law Universities in India. The under graduate course in law is referred to as LL.B and is a 3 year law course that all students of Law have to take up to receive a degree in Law as a Law Graduate.  It is the first step to those who aspire to have a career related to the Law and jurisdiction.

The University of Delhi is supposedly the best university for Law and its studies. The University of Delhi conducts its entrance exams every year in order to screen eligible candidates and let them take admission in their Department of Law.  Students are required to fill forms either physically or online in order to apply for the Delhi University Law Entrance Exam. One needs to have a minimum of 45% in their last qualifying examination either during post graduation or post Higher Secondary. The Delhi University Law Entrance examination is equivalent to the Common Law Admission Test . The University conducts its own law entrance exams and on the basis of merit does one get admission to the Law Department of the Delhi University.

The question format for the University Law Entrance examination is required to be answered in English and is of multiple choices. Questions on English Comprehension, Reasoning abilities, Legal Awareness, General Knowledge and Mathematics are expected to be answered. There is a negative making for every wrong answer given. The best students are screened according to their eligibility, marks and merit.  Every year, the University Law Entrance examination is held mid-year and the results are announced right after two weeks.

The Bachelors degree in Law is achieved after the completion of three years where all aspects of Law are covered and students are trained to face the real world as lawyers.  All the aspects of the country’s law and order and jurisdictions are explained well to the students during the three year course.
